About Kay

kay 2Martin Luther said: ‘The hair is the richest ornament of women.’

I started my hairdressing career in 1985. I received the Best Hairdresser Award on completion of college.  I successfully completed my Trade Tests Caucausian, Afro and Gents. I further completed my Diploma in Hairdressing  N6 level . My impressive clientele followed me in and around salons that I worked in or owned.

Life is an endless struggle full of frustrations and challenges, but eventually you find a hair stylist you like.

In 1994 I diverted into education and training, qualified with Teachers Diploma: Technical and Education Management Degree.   I combined my two passions hairdressing and teaching for the next 13 years as Lecturer at Coastal FET College. My responsibilities included training, judging, moderating, writing learning material, compiling programmes and co-ordinating hair and beauty pageants.

I have since resigned from lecturing to focus in my businesses.

My passion for hair.  beauty, style and image consulting is clearly evident in my portfolio.  I take pride in my journey through life in the name of personal grooming.

Hair is terribly personal, a tangle of mysterious prejudices.

‘ How can I control my life when I can’t control my hair? ‘
